Exploring Sunday

As much as we’d love to have whole weekend to spend as a family, at the moment we have Sunday when all four of us can do something and Monday with Balthazar at home and Jasmine at school. So Sunday is THE DAY to do something different, explore the area, go for some trip.

This Sunday we went to discover river Orwell – we have crossed Orwell Bridge many times, but you can’t really see what’s under, now we know! And we also know we will be back. We parked our car at Woolverstone and walked along the river estuary to Pin Mill where we had lovely lunch at Butt and Oyster ( I must say I was expecting simple pub meal and was quite happy with it, but I’m so glad it was so much more!! It was delicious and even though we loved the walk, the lunch definitely made the day.

    • Hi Sue, there are lovely places everywhere, one just need to get out there, but we love it here, the “closeness” of everything is great. This was half an hour drive and we were nearly at the sea!
