Hi everyone, hope you all had a good start to the New Year!
I have been very quiet on the blog in the last couple of months and it has got a very good reason. I was still writing but the content is has turned into my first book and it’s being printed on real pages as you are reading! I am over the moon! I have been dreaming about it since our days on the Island. And for a long time, it was just that … a dream. And day by day it was beginning to be more and more real. The last couple of month the book completely took over my life. Writing, reading, correcting, finishing some projects etc etc.
But all was worth it and the big day has come … TA DA DA … the book is at the printer and I can start taking pre-orders!
- Learn how to make several different blocks which you can combine and apply in many different projects
- Step-by-step instructions accompanied by photographs
- 11 projects including cushions and wall hangings crowned by an impressive double bed quilt which combines most of the blocks taught in the book
- This technique uses different fabric for the background from the frame of the window giving the finished project more contrast and striking results
To order your own signed copy visit our website and save £5 if you pre-order before 23rd January!
I’m also thrilled to tell you that the FORWARD in the book was written by no one else but the Queen of Cathedral Windows Lynne Edwards herself. How lucky am I?!
Thankfully all this hard work is behind me and I will be able to write about other projects and news more regularly again.
Thank you for reading

Thank you Donna, it’s very exciting, but it’s like with quilts, before you finish one you already start buying fabrics for the next one. The book is still not back from printers and I already know what will be the next one – long cushions! 🙂
