Today I’d like to introduce you one of my latest wall hangings.

I love words, quotes, aphorisms and affirmations. And sometimes I feel too practical to make something just for the pretty side of it. I love including messages, quotes or symbols in my work to give them deeper than just decorative meaning. So this piece have well know quote from Mahatma Gandhi : Be the change you wish to see.

I got inspiration from an online class where we were painting a feather and because it’s just made of lines, it was so easy to express it in stitch. I started couple of years ago, I was painting it around last Christmas and now it’s proudly hanging in the shop.
