I just recently made a present for a friend of mine who just had a lovely baby girl with loads of hair!! Amazing!! She made me lovely sleeping bag for Balthazarwhen he was born, so I wanted to make her something useful as well and I found on Pintrest a great idea for towel or bath apron as they call it, which holds on your shoulders while you take baby out of bath and you can wrap him/her in it straight away! I have to make one for our little boy as well, as it’s so challenging to get him out and keep the towel ready at the same time!!
It has “head pocket” at the bottom and I managed a washing glove as well. The top front is reversible and quilted, I just couldn’t resist not the quilt something on it 🙂
It’s nice a simple project, all you need is new large bath towel, fat quarter and I have used some pre-made bias binding.
I had a great fun, and I hope I have inspired you for some Christmas presents!! If you do need a pattern, search on etsy for bath apron and you will find few of them…
