Christmas are definitely nearly here and I’ll be taking part in Open Studio Christmas exhibition in Quay Arts this Saturday 30th November 10:30- 4:00 and Sunday 1st December 10:30-4:00. There will be around 40 artist and craftsmen from the Island, so if you like one of a kind Christmas presents, come to support local producers.

I’ve be lately preparing lots of hand made Christmas cards … no sorry that’s not said properly … WE have been preparing them – Oli is a great help and I don’t know what I would do without him!! So they are definitely work of both of us, like most of our work!!

My favourite ones have just embroidered trees on the felt, decorated with glitter glue, very simple yet very effective!!

Also I have only just discovered snow globes, which you can fill with your own photo or your own little artwork. So I have continued with the design of the trees to make few globes which will be available for sale on the exhibition as well.

So I hope you can make it to Quay Arts this weekend and see not only me, but from the shops tutors, there will also be Gillian Chapman with her felt designs and Penny Green, our new tutor for dolls – so you can look at her other creations!!
