As you now know I love using quotes. In this piece I have combined that with painting on fabric, reverse appliqué ( cutting out the brown fabric to expose the orange fabric underneath) and of course free motion quilting. 

Sometimes the quote comes first and the work evolves around, this time it was the other way round. 

The painting has been done by Olivier in a very Zentagle style, you fill your spaces with any pattern and its in a way very meditative …
