Today was the longest day in a year and what I’ve been doing??? Sewing of course!! Working on the Moonlit garden – the piecing is finished, now just finish the windows … I have 96 done and 88 to go – being more than half way there is encouraging.

But that’s not all we have done today … I made some sandwiches for dinner and box full of vegetable and after Oli came from work, we left for Poppy hunt. Well actually we knew where are we going, there is wonderful field between Brading and Bembridge. I know it’ s not much about sewing, but the pictures are so wonderful I had to share them with you…

Sun was shining, really lovely day!! If it wasn’t the longest one, we would probably wait for the sunset as well ….

So now all I need to do is get ready for a big trip tomorrow … Sandown Show … and because I already got a phone call from them, I know I’ll be posting with lot of excitement tomorrow again!!!  Now I just need to choose what to wear!!!!
