I had only time for one small project this week before I headed for the Newark Quilt show. I was thinking about some new classes and how to bring a modern twist to some otherwise traditional technique. Last week I used 1/4″ bias tape to make a fake skinny border on my hanging and as this tape is used for stained glass windows … I googled contemporary stained glass … some amazing door and window panels came out which was very inspiring! So I got a pencil and paper and 3 hours later … voila!
And I love it! I love this first project, I love the modern look, I love the freedom this gives you! I have already chosen fabrics for the next one and I might have a name for this class:
FREE FORM STAINED GLASS WINDOWS!
What do you think??
