New Quilt shop in Suffolk

oliven shop patchwork suffolkWe are open! I can’t believe it!  We closed down our shop on the Isle of Wight on the 7th February and only three weeks later – Sunday 1st of March  we opened another one 150 miles away in beautiful Suffolk. I must say those three weeks feels more like 3 months when I think of all the things we have done and been through! Our new house is nearly fully functioning, with two kids it had to be quite quickly, so the only room which is unfortunately not finished  is sadly the Atelier. But once that will be done I can get in and finish all those projects waiting to be completed … but I will have to start with adjusting all the voiles and curtains … the very exciting job to do. ( I love the saying  … asking a quilter to mend your trousers is like asking Picasso to paint your bathroom … I’m sure it’s the same with curtains as well. ) But it will make our home really pretty, so I’m sure I can push myself.

Enjoy couple of pictures from the shop. I am still painting the sign to put over our doors, but it will be ready soon ….

All the quilt are sadly folded, waiting for the large workshop room to be ready. There will be nice large walls to display them all!! Or nearly all …

Thank you for reading and I’ll be back soon with hopefully more creative post  ….

    • Thank you Sue, it was the third shop we build so it’s getting easier but we have no intention of moving any more! I must say I do love the way this shop came out the most. Love to you too …
